I have a steersman/helmsman license. Can I rent your self-drive boats?
Yes. All valid PPCDL/Steersman/Helmsman license holders are allowed to join Bearboat Charters membership and rent our boats for self-drive.
I have years of experience in boating and already possess the necessary skills to drive boats proficiently. Is it possible for me to skip the proficiency trial?
We still require seasoned boaters to complete our short proficiency trial to ensure a safe and efficient experience for all renters at sea.
 
This trial will guarantee that renters of various levels and experience are well-acquainted specifically with our vessels, safety procedures and onboard technology / equipments.
